Deze was good for most of the day, then we hit mid-day, daddy was at work, so we all cleaned up and vacuumed the playroom and wrapped up some gifts that need to be mail or are for daddy. The kids loved helping out with this. The minute we were done and I had to clean up however Deze was gone. I ran all the wrapping supplies upstairs, then went to the kitchen to get her.
I found her at the table with raw premade cookie dough and a cup of soy milk.......well instead of just pouring the cup, she opened a new half gallon of soy milk and poured it till the run ran over and kept pouring till the cartoon was gone.
Now this in and of itself not so bad. Then I realize that my purse is on the table, soaked in soy milk. In my purse is my camera, and Gabes beloved PSP. Both of them were rescued in time, the purse is in the washer. It took all I had to remain calm with her.
10 minutes after clean up we had to leave to get daddy from work. Deze wanted dry clothes, so I get her clothes to put on. She gets half dressed and gets mad at me, starts to scream. By this time I am trying not to let her see me laugh at her....I get her all dressed and get the other 3 kids to the van, come back in and have to carry her out kicking and screaming at me. The good news is that I cannot understand her when she is screaming so I don't know what she was calling me!
As for the other kids, Tajia and Nomuken had a blast at school, came home helped with the gifts, then after we got daddy they all got to stay up for pizza and the Tinkerbell movie!!
Gabe had a good day...just a few melt downs, one major in Target which resulted in daddy carrying him screaming through Target. I have been working with him alot of getting along with his sisters, and time out when his temper hits...he had 6 time outs today, not bad for him at all!
He is very confused with Christmas, he thinks that if we just make the Christmas cookies that Santa will come that night, that is how that works right?
I have yet to explain this to him in a manner he understands. So the Christmas cookies are waiting till Christmas eve this yr!
